we are on holiday - hurray! We are back open on Wednesday 3rd of November and taking bookings - Please email us as we are away but monitoring email in the evening over a glass of wine or two or three We are looking forward to seeing you all from November 3rd Our opening days as from November are Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. A 5 day week after 50 years of cooking. 09/09/2021 A small intimate restaurant, with an excellent menu that delivered all the way. The staff were a cut above the average, as was the service they gave. A definite gem on the Riviera. #5bubblereview #tripadvisor
20/09/2021 A truly Austrian experience We are Austrophiles, if there is such a word, having close family links to the country, and came to celebrate a birthday. This was one of the best meals we have ever had, and the owner, Werner Roth, and his team were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, and Werner did me a chicken schnit... More > We are very pleased to have received the LUXlife, sixth annual Food & Drink Award. Old Vienna Restaurant has been awarded: Best Contemporary Fine Dining Restaurant - Devon  Since May and have been working 6/7 days a week and I've loved every moment of it.
But now I have reached 65 it is time to look after myself, so from November I'll be taking an extra day off. From November this year I am closing Mondays and Tuesdays. I maybe persuaded to do the odd private party booking up to 20 guest by prior arrangement. Werner.
